The Sandy Creek Golf Club is located at the entrance to the Barossa Valley, just 55 minutes from the Adelaide Central Business District. Ranked in 2021 by Golf Australia Magazine as the 10th best public access course in South Australia, Sandy Creek GC provides a complete golfing experience with manicured greens and a picturesque layout featuring several well-positioned lakes.
The course is situated on gently undulating land with extensive views over the Barossa Valley from many parts of the course. Flowering gums and other native trees and shrubs provide a home for a large variety of birds and the many kangaroos which can be seen relaxing on and off fairways.
Because the course is laid on sand, it drains quickly and therefore provides great year-round playability. The club is renowned for its friendly country hospitality. Sandy Creek GC boasts significant practice facilities including a 320m driving range, plus a fleet of electric carts. Come and enjoy a round of golf, perhaps as part of a visit to the internationally acclaimed Barossa region.
The Club has a fully licensed, air-conditioned Clubhouse that seats 100 people. The clubhouse and extensive deck area overlook the 8th fairway and 9th green, providing the perfect setting to relax after your round.
