The only course in Gippsland to crack a spot in the Top 100 Public Access Courses coming in at #65 in 2017, this is a must play course to add to your list.
Midway between Inverloch and Leongatha and set in magnificent natural bush, Leongatha Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole all weather course. The course is a classic Vern Morcom design that has been a hidden treasure in Victoria’s South Gippsland region for far too long. It is a scenic layout that covers terrain from hilly to gently rolling with wide Santa Ana couch fairways flanked by natural bushland. The greens are also a surprise for a visiting golfer. They are beautifully maintained and feature subtle contouring.
Designed by Vern Morcom and first opened for play in 1960. The Club moved from their original 9 hole course in Leongatha which opened in 1909 in order to establish the 18 hole course.
