The outward eight holes at The Links is set in the valley leading towards the natural wetlands. A very picturesque outward side which is all viewable from the tavern. The inward 10 holes wraps around the hill to the east which helps to protect them from the strong winter westerlies. As you work your way around this side, enjoy the views (but try to avoid!) the Killalea Lagoon.

The Links Shell Cove is a unique and picturesque golf course located in the Illawarra region on the south coast of New South Wales. Once referred to as the “Beast of the East” due to its challenging nature, The Links has transformed itself into a golf course known for its friendly, inviting atmosphere and an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. When the southerly or north east wind blows, there is nowhere to hide. If you venture out in the breeze you will certainly know you are alive! A few exciting holes to note are some of the shortest; in particular par 4’s hole 7 and 15, both which play under 300m but offer the element of risk vs reward.
